Problem:
The existing system of tracking weights of twelve products allowed only the manager to review the weights of the silos from remote displays at a single location.
Solution:
Design and develop an Intranet Multiple Scale Data Collection System that would allow anyone with the proper network access to determine the current and past weights of any silo from any computer on the company network. Utilizing the twelve indicators currently monitoring product weights (GSE 550 with Remote 450, Flexweigh, and Kistler-Morse), information would then be routed through a terminal server to the network and then onto a data collection computer.
