Cotton Gin Data Collection System
Problem: A cotton processing facility in Memphis was having problems tracking and documenting the incoming, processing and shipping of the cotton in their facility.
Solution: JLD Systems, LTD provided a computer system and software that connected to four industrial scales. The product was weighed on the scales. The weight and relevent information were stored in a database we created. The system printed barcode labels and printed daily reports. There were reports included for incoming, inventory and shipped.
